MNDA NEWS

There has been a single released called 'Dirty Old Town'.  It is an exciting collaboration between the band Simple Minds and football legend, Jimmy Johnstone.  Jimmy voted Celtic's greatest ever player was diagnosed with MND two years ago.  Half the money raised through sales of the single will be donated to MNDA.  You can buy the single from all major retail outlets or on line by visiting www.jimmyjohnstone.com or www.hmv.co.uk .

AGM

It hasn't been long since our last AGM, but we always look ahead to the next one as time goes by so fast, and we only have three more Newsletters until the next AGM.  Margaret our Secretary is stepping down having completed more than 3 years service.  Jackie will be stepping sown as Publicity Officer but will continue to do the newsletter.  

Is there anyone who would like to try something new and join our committee or be our Secretary.  This position is more important to fill than that of Publicity Officer but if you fancy a go at publicity you could take over of the Newsletter if it appeals.  

With either of these positions the committee would be there to provide guidance and support.  If you would like to join us please give June, our Chairperson, or Margaret, our present Secretary a call.
